Partner

 

Stacey McGee, CPA

Stacey McGee joined the firm of Becky Roberts, CPA in January 2014 and then became a partner in the new firm of Roberts & McGee, CPA in January of 2015. She has over 15 years of experience in public accounting where she served on various audits for non-profit and governmental entities, as well as extensive experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, businesses, and non-profit entities. In addition to Stacey's public accounting experience, she also has an MBA from Baylor University and brings unique experience from having worked as both the Director of Accounting and Associate CFO for a public school district and a large non-profit entity.

 

Madalyn  Rickert

Audit Associate

Madalyn received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Abilene Christian University in May, 2024 and is currently pursuing her Master of Accountancy. She is a member of the Texas Society of CPA’s and the Abilene Chapter of CPAs.

Cara Hilbrich, CPA

Partner

Cara has provided clients with auditing and consulting services since 2006. Her industry experience includes construction, nonprofit and governmental entities. She works to obtain the audit assurance and documentation needed to provide a quality report that meets the clients' needs. When working with Cara, you can expect quick responses to questions as well as respect for the time of you and your staff. She will work with you to understand your organization and your specific challenges, help determine solutions and provide needed assistance. Outside of work, Cara enjoys time with her family and any outdoor activities, including gardening, swimming, target shooting, four-wheeling and finding new ways to make dinner over a fire

 

Mandy Roberson

Audit Associate

Mandy received her Master of Accountancy from McMurry University in May, 2023 and serves on our team as assurance staff. She is a member of the Texas Society of CPA’s and the Abilene Chapter of CPAs and was previously employed by mid-sized local CPA firms.

 

Greg Wilson, CPA

Audit Manager

Greg Wilson is a seasoned accounting and auditing professional who enjoys helping organizations of all sizes improve internal controls and financial reporting practices in addition to meeting their compliance requirements. Greg completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with an accounting major from Abilene Christian University in 1993 and a Master of Arts in English from University of North Texas in 2004. He has been licensed to practice public accounting by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy since June 26, 1996, certificate number 69824. Greg also holds a Certified Information Technology Professional credential with the American Institute of CPAs. Greg has 13 years of public accounting experience with three regional CPA firms located in Abilene, Knoxville, TN, and Dallas prior to joining Roberts & McGee, with a focus on audits of nonprofits and privately held businesses. Greg also brings to the firm 15 years of non-profit industry experience as a former controller for Abilene Christian University and a former vice president and CFO for United Way of Abilene. Greg volunteers as a board member of Abilene Interfaith Council, the KACU Community Advisory Board, and the Abilene High Orchestra Booster Club.

Jill Fortson, SHRM-CP

Human Resources/Office Manager

Jill joined the firm in fall, 2022 overseeing office management and HR functions. She is an experienced HR and career services professional with a background in training, recruiting, employee relations and onboarding; and serves on the Board for the Big Country Society for Human Resource Management. Jill received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University and her Master of Science in Organizational Development from Abilene Christian University. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family (including her furry canine family members); is an avid football fan and enjoys singing and playing the piano.
